Welcome back to the 12th edition of the Durrant Farms Newsletter. We’re here to keep you in the loop of all the happenings on the farm… and boy! There have been a lot of happenings since our last update.
First of all, we’re very excited to share that we have CHICKS! It has always been our goal to give our guests eggs from *our* farm during their stay and it looks like that wish will be coming true in the coming months.
We have 8 adorable baby chicks of different varieties. 1 Cochin, 2 Leghorns, 1 Minorca, 2 Marans, 1 Starlight green-egger, and 1 Ameraucana easter-egger. These sweet ladies will grow up here on our farm and will start producing in a few months. We can’t wait to share their eggs with you when you book a stay on our farm!

Since opening our Brunch & Happy Hour experiences last month, we’ve had so much interest and people showing up to spend time with our boys. We love hosting these unique experiences. It is wonderful to see how happy the boys make other people as well.
We know these experiences are unique and people have a lot of questions. We created a really helpful FAQ page on our site now that will help answer some of them. But first and foremost.. YES, we do require reservations!
You can purchase passes in the farm shop per person in your party. Child-pricing is now available for children 8 and under. Once we receive your purchase, we will email you within a few hours (usually within minutes) to set up your reservation time. We require 48 hours notice for either experience.
Reply back if you have any questions. You can also call or text us at 828-539-0689 to check for availability before you purchase your passes. We’re happy to help!
