Asheville weather is cooling down and we’re starting to see the leaves changing. According to this interactive fall leaf map, the best time to view the fall leaves at Durrant Farms will be Oct 28-31. Remarkably, those dates are still available in our Guesthouse. What!? Seriously, we can’t believe it either.
We are also still running the AMAZING FALL SPECIAL that we shared in our last newsletter. From now until October 12th 2023, when you use the special code to book a minimum 2-night stay, you will get a free Alpaca Happy Hour for your group! (4pp max) Simply sign up on the form below to get the code.
Please note: Happy Hour is NOT available from mid-November until mid-March. This offer is specifically for stays from now until mid-November 2023 and for stays in the Spring, Summer and Fall of 2024.
NEW AMENITIES
We officially have a working sauna on the property! Equipped with an industry standard HUUM Heater, our sustainably-sourced Eastern White Cedar barrel sauna is the perfect solution to stay warm during cool fall and winter evenings. The sauna is available for guests at our Guesthouse for all foreseeable bookings. You just let us know when you want to use it, and we will make sure it is pre-heated at your desired hour. (max 4pp)
To the right of the sauna, you may notice our lovely cold plunge tub. This is one of our current projects. It is fully set up and ready to go, with the exception of… the cold water.? In full disclosure, we are still debating whether or not to get a commercial ice maker or install a chiller system to keep it cold. We will have to report back on what we decide! If you have a cold plunge and have recommendations for us, please reply and share your wisdom.
