It’s fully November. Our guys are getting fuzzier by the day and we’re prepping for colder days. A lot of people ask if the boys do okay in the cold. And I love to tell people that they do really well in the cold, actually! Their alpaca fiber grows throughout the year. And, since they were last sheared in April, they’ve gotten a lot more fleece to protect them from any harsh weather.
We’re expecting a cold winter here in the Blue Ridge Mountains so we’ll be sure to keep you updated on their max fluffiness in future newsletters.
