🌝November on the Farm: Blankets, Bulbs & Holiday Brightness
Hello from the alpaca meadow,
November at the farm has been full and beautiful — mostly dry days, bright skies, and then a magical dusting of unexpected snow that covered everything in sparkling white for a moment. While most of the land has been settling into its winter rhythm, one corner has been bursting with activity: our future flower garden. Stella, our land manager, has been an absolute powerhouse — tilling the entire field on the tractor solo (a huge milestone after learning from Tom this year!) and planting bulbs left and right. In the past two weeks alone, she has tucked more than 600 bulbs into the soil with so much intention and care. Watching her confidence grow alongside this project has been awe-inspiring, and we can already imagine the springtime sea of color that will greet wedding couples and visitors next year.

🔥 Sauna Update
We are thrilled to share that the sauna is officially built and standing proudly, thanks to the masterful work of our carpenter, Colt. It’s currently being hooked up to electric and will soon be ready to enjoy as the temperatures drop. If you’re heading to the Asheville area for the holidays, we’d love to host you at our cozy cottage — complete with alpaca greetings and (very soon) a warm sauna escape.
❄️ Alpaca Wonderland Winter Market — December 13 | 12–5 PM
If you’ve been following along, you already know we’re just a couple weeks away from our very first Alpaca Wonderland Winter Market, and we could not be more excited. Picture a festive afternoon on the farm, surrounded by holiday sparkle, local makers, handmade treasures, mulled wine, herbal elixirs, and the irresistible scent of wood-fired pizza from Smokee’s drifting through crisp mountain air. A massage therapist will be offering warm hands and relaxation, the alpacas will be ready for pets and treats, and we’ll have hot cocoa by the pasture for the perfect winter moment. We’d be honored to share this new tradition with you.

As we step into December, our hearts feel steadied and full. This season reminds us that growth doesn’t always arrive with fanfare — sometimes it’s slow tending, patient progress, and dreams taking shape little by little, field by field.
